Southwark Council used to have street signs around Borough so tall they could only be read from upstairs on a double decker bus, as we reported. Twice.
Now look at them. Beautiful. And so ... head-height.
Nila, the food service delivery people, used to use sexual innuendo and bad graphics to advertise their wares.
Then we got on their case and their whole communications strategy changed (if not the graphics).
Their latest idea is to use a subtle Olympics theme, cleverly avoiding any direct references, which were banned.
The moral of the tale is never give up. And always carry a camera.
* we have no reason to believe that we had no role whatsoever in bringing about this change
